Modified Response Bias Inventory (BIDR/CFQ-Informed; 40-item)

This 40-item inventory is a locally modified response-bias screening measure informed by Paulhus's work on socially desirable responding and Broadbent et al.'s work on cognitive failures. It is not the official Balanced Inventory of Desirable Responding, the Paulhus Deception Scales, or the Cognitive Failures Questionnaire. Items use a general/typical timeframe and provide research-quality screening prompts for impression management, self-deceptive enhancement, and cognitive failures.
